Welcome to Tanner Community
Tanner Community has been created for believers in their early faith among those who desire to be further discipled. Just as Simon the Tanner aided Peter in Joppa, We too desire to help those desiring to be fed spiritually.
Our Vision
Our vision at Tanner Community is to ultimately make disciples. We desire to fulfill God’s will and calling on our lives by providing a place for believers in their early faith to be discipled in real-time whether at the work—place, home or everyday life trials and temptations. We desire unity in the Body and put that at utmost importance. To seek God with everything and to love our neighbor; to esteem, treat and love our brother better than ourselves; to stay awhile in God’s presence.
With this vision comes many facets:
1) Real-time Discipleship
2) Work—place and skill building
3) Immediate Community support and involvement
4) Missions
Our Goal
Tanner Community desires to accomplish whatever the Lord wills. What we have been led thus far is to make disciples in the current community with the intention of sending them out into the world to disciple as they have received. We desire to create jobs in-house to employ some, if not all, of the members. The first project is Tanner Community Coffee which is currently being constructed at 137 N. Main St. Williamstown, Kentucky.
